Do they teach diagramming in school anymore? Is it worth it in an age of Autocorrect? Realizing how much I enjoyed diagramming sentences in middle school was an early clue to the kind of obsessive-compulsive dude I would become later.
This kind of stuff is SO APROPOS for comics. I wish I had thought of this first. Shucks.
I know when my brain fixates on a sentence like that (and it's nice to see someone else talk about the experience), the only thing that helps is to put a better one in, so I listen to really aggressive music or pop open a book of slam poetry...something with more horsepower than whatever sentence I'm fixated on. I don't know if that will help in the future or not, but I thought I'd at least pass it along.
