“I don’t know what will happen now.

We have got difficult days ahead, but it doesn’t matter with me because I’ve been to the mountain top. Like anybody else I would like to live a long life. But I’m not concerned with that. I just want to do God’s will and he has allowed me to go up to the mountain. I see the promised land. I may not get there with you. But I want you to know tonight that we as a people will get to the promised land. I am happy tonight that I am not worried about anything. I’m not fearing any man. Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord.” (Ben Shahn print version) (link to youtube of longer section)

Someone hung up a poster in our shared office at school that says in big letters: "Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity." -MLK. Also on the poster are listed icons with words under them like "Alternative Right" and "Anti Immigrant" and "General Hate" and "Radical Traditional Catholicism" and I went online to find the context for this, what he said before and after. I was not able to find it online. Anyone?
